KONGWA, DODOMA – The Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) has completed major power infrastructure projects aimed at improving electricity reliability in Dodoma Region, benefiting residents of Gairo, Mpwapwa, Kongwa, Chamwino and Kiteto districts. The projects, valued at more than TSh 10.5 billion, were commissioned on June 16, 2026, in Mbande, Kongwa District, by the Minister for Energy, Deogratius Ndejembi.
